Pretty amped to see Sondre Lerche tonight at the Bowery Ballroom here in NYC. Sondre is a Norwegian born singer/songwriter who blends folk, pop and rock to create his unique sound. Though he’s got quite a few albums under his belt, he’s just breaking into the U.S. music scene. A few months back he released a new album called “Phantom Punch”, which is a rock album with a more aggressive sound than any of his previous stuff. If you’re highly recommend his earlier album “Faces Down,” which he penned when he was 19 years old.
If you recently checked out Steve Carell’s recent movie “Dan in Real Life” then you’ve already been exposed to Sondre as he wrote the entire soundtrack. Pretty cool stuff.
